Thank God that Obama won; not because he his the first black president of the United States of America, but for his slogan "Yes, we can! " He promises change for us not only in the United States of America, but for the world indirectly. Because when things change in this country it should affect the world, but understand this Obama is just a person like you and I, he can only do so much.
Understand this the world is in our hands; so, let us work together in making this country, and the world we live in a safer, more friendly planet in the universe.
So what am I saying that we citizens must do our part in making this country and world safe, and productive has much as we can. For example for job wise businesses must be able to provide some volunteer jobs for the jobless, and also lack of experience and pay them as much as they can afford, and provide internships for students in need of experience, and also need some extra cash to survive through college. For the gas prices; people who own gas stations should be considerate on the drivers by reducing the gas prices to the minimum of a $1 and no more than $2.00 per gallon like the good old days. For education teachers, professors, and instructors should put this in mind "No one should be left behind"; that must also go for the school administration. I am talking to these people in the educational sytem (between the Pre K-9 to college level). For our health; hospitals and other medical team members must show compassion on people whether we have insurance or not; treat people as if they are treating themselves or loved ones. For the environment; I would encourage that people should buy hybrid cars; I also encourage car dealers to make more hybrid cars with addition of solar panels to each vehicle, and I will encourage that both the manufacturers and the dealers should sell these vehicle at a reasonable price that people can buy (cheap enough please).
We have to understand that we need to be the change first; we should not allow Obama to do all the change. We must first pitch in together no matter what color, nationality, gender, political party, religion, or what ever makes us different. So we must take away our hatred to make the changes first, and by gawly we shall see the change in us. So, my fellow citizens I urge you to work together for a better America, and a better world.
Also the newly elected President, Mr. Obama I challege you to help us make social security available to all Americans, to make the tax balance (10% for federal, and state government) to everybody (making the upper class pay the price that a middle class and lower class will pay, also make the middle class pay what a lower class to pay) or pay the income they reported; which ever is less the person should pay which ever is cheaper to make it even around; if you have to make each class to pay a different amount; I would challenge you to make down to at least 3.5% difference. If necessary when it time for tax returns give the rich at least 20% of their returns, and for the middle class and lower class give them back the same 20% with an extra 10-20% that will be derived from the upper class.
I also challenge Barack Obama with the aid of helping college students by giving us some cash (spending); and we will still get assistance with financial aid for tuition and books with a minimum of $500.00 per week(savings) and minimum of $100.00 per week with a free bank account by the department of education. Also with students who has a computer related major should get $300.00 per week extra for the cost of the hardwares, and softwares they would need for the classes with an addition of a minimum extra of another $250.00 per week in a credit union account and when account reaches $7,000.00; the ban should put $5,000.00 to a CD account, in which the students cannot withdraw until 10 years after graduation. And for taxes wise, we can pay 10% of the money on the 15th of April every year or after every school year.
For students living on campus; we could get up to $500.00 per week for basic needs and anything that will keep us in school and independent from parents need.
I also challenge stores to give at least a 45% discounts for we students.
I would challange the department of education to make public college school students to pay 45% discount on the original tuition and books if they get financial aid from their school of choice.
For housing for students, home owners should help college students by giving discounts for students, educators, and people in the military. Also, the utility bills should be discounted also. For banks, and utility companies, I challange that they should help home owners who allow students to live with them; that should give the home owners a minimum of a 70% discount on mortgages, and the utility bills(including T.V., and phone). E.g for 1 student =75%, 2 students =70% 3 students =60% 4 students =50% 5 and more =40% discount on bills, and mortgages
For the upper class families; if president Obama promises to give you this 10% tax; we should expect that you should the incentive to help the government in everyway possible, and also help your fellow citizens no matter what class there are in.
I challange everybody to work together in making this country the safest country in the world, and also help other countries feel safe also, and let us work in harmony. Housing; I challange builders to making the housing cheaper for new homeowners, and I challenge the retailers of home improvement to reduce the cost of the materials needed for building homes.
